CATS Global Schools (CGS), the education group that includes CATS Cambridge, The Worthgate School in Canterbury, Bosworth Independent School in Northampton and Guildhouse School, London, celebrates excellent university progressions for the 2024 University Foundation Programme (UFP) cohort.
Students receiving their results are progressing to four of the top 10 UK universities. They will be attending Durham University, University of Bath, University of Warwick and Loughborough University. CGS students have also obtained places to 17 of the top 30 UK universities.
The University Foundation Programme was introduced by CATS Cambridge in 1985. UFP was designed to provide international students with the additional year of academic study required to apply for British universities. Furthermore, the course enables students to quickly improve their academic and conversational English, preparing them both for the rigors of university study and to communicate their university peers.
“Our University Foundation Programme opens the door to a UK university education for international students. CATS Global Schools has an excellent track record of supporting international students to obtain places at top UK universities.”
Dr. Craig Wilson, Managing Director of Schools, CATS Global Schools.
CATS Global Schools has partnered with more and more UK universities. Today 95 UK universities accept our UFP, including 19 Russell Group universities.
Since 1985, CATS Global Schools has been very successful in supporting international students to obtain top UK university places. Students have obtained places at 19 Russell Group universities and 14 of the current top 20 UK universities in the last five years (according to The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide).
Our 2024 UFP cohorts success in obtaining places at top UK universities adds to this proud tradition.
“I would recommend UFP because it is an interesting course. It’s your first step to live and study in the UK.”
