Raising awareness of the importance of positive mental health across our school communities is always a priority. As such, CATS Global Schools is proud to support Mental Health Awareness Week (15-21 May).
We are playing our part in helping raise awareness of how to manage and improve feelings of anxiety and prevent them from developing into more serious mental health problems.
“Our commitment to promoting positive health and wellbeing is ongoing.”

Tim Gladston, People & Engagement Director, explains:
“We will all experience anxiety during our lives, and we know it can affect our mental and physical wellbeing and personal and professional relationships. That’s why our commitment to promoting positive health and wellbeing is ongoing.
“Over the last year, we’ve either introduced new wellness initiatives or bolstered our existing provision to support our employees better and to attract top talent.”
Benefits available to UK staff to help maintain positive mental health and wellbeing include:
An Employee Assistance Programme
The service offers support and signposting on several topics, from sleep and bereavement support to financial advice and mental health. As part of this service, staff can access confidential counselling sessions.
A health cash plan
Launched in April, staff can claim up to 100% cash back on healthcare costs, including mental and physical wellbeing support.
GP access, 24/7
This service provides UK employees access to a registered GP anytime.
Benefits for overseas employees are tailored to their needs. For example, we have recently introduced a health-screening service for our employees based in Hong Kong.
