Student Successes: Oxbridge Offers 2024

Students Studying Outside

Six CATS Global Schools (CGS) students have received offers to study at the University of Cambridge and University of Oxford.

CGS has a history of helping its students pursue and secure places on their preferred degree courses at prestigious UK and international universities. Many CGS students select traditional degree subjects, such as Mathematics, Natural Sciences, and Medicine. Three CGS students now hold offers to read Medicine at Oxford and Cambridge from Autumn 2024.

CGS is also dedicated to supporting students pursuing creative degrees in visual and performing arts. This year, a Cambridge School of Visual and Performing Arts (CSVPA) student has secured an offer to study Fine Art at the University of Oxford.

“These  six academically strong and ambitious students join several CGS alumni who have progressed to Oxbridge to study Mathematics, Natural Sciences and Medicine in recent years.”

Oxbridge Achievement

CGS Managing Director Schools, Dr Craig Wilson, praised the accomplishments of these dedicated students:

“We’re extremely proud that six CGS students have received offers from the University of Cambridge and University of Oxford this year.  Academically strong and ambitious, these six students join several CGS alumni who have progressed to Oxbridge to study Mathematics, Natural Sciences and Medicine in recent years.

This amazing performance is only possible because of the huge mentoring efforts provided by our dedicated teaching teams. Oxbridge applications are highly competitive and success requires student commitment and expert guidance.

Our Key Professions Programme leaders provide personalised advice on the combination of academic subjects, independent study, research projects and extracurricular experiences relevant to the student’s specific choice of degree. Within the programme, students receive support with applications, admissions tests and interview preparation, including advice from alumni and university lecturers.

It is with thanks to them, and the huge efforts of our students, that we wish all of our Oxbridge offer holders the best of luck for the challenging and rewarding academic life ahead of them.”
