At CATS Global Schools (CGS), we are pleased to share more university offer news for our UK boarding schools.
At present, CGS students have received a combined total of 1168 offers from UK and international universities. 97% of CGS students, who have applied to university, have received offers from UK and international universities.
We are delighted to share exciting updates on university offers received from the Russell Group and top 20 UK universities and on offers received from prestigious international universities ranked in the global top 100 by the QS World University Ranking. We are also sharing details about offers by subject area.
In the 2025 application cycle, students have achieved three offers from the University of Cambridge. Students have also secured offers at the UK’s most prestigious and internationally respected universities, including Imperial College London, University College London (UCL), and the London School of Economics (LSE).

70% of CGS students, who have applied for university in 2025, have received offers from Russell Group universities.
Students have received 133 offers from seven of the eight most highly regarded Russell Group universities as identified by the Times Higher Education. The seven universities are the University of Cambridge, Imperial College London, London School of Economics, University College London, The University of Edinburgh, King’s College London and the University of Manchester.

Students have secured offers from six of the top 20 universities in the world. Offers have been received from Imperial College London (ranked 2nd), the University of Cambridge (ranked 5th), University College London (ranked 9th), The University of Melbourne (ranked 13th), The University of Hong Kong (ranked 17th) and The University of Sydney (ranked 18th) according to the QS World University Rankings 2025.
Fifteen UK universities appear in the top 100 universities in the QS World University Ranking 2025. CGS students have achieved offers to fourteen of the fifteen UK universities in the top 100 universities.

Empowered to be ambitious and aspirational by our Higher Education Officers and teachers, CGS students pursue a broad range of undergraduate degrees at top UK and international universities. Many students apply for competitive courses including Medicine, Dentistry and Law, receiving expert advice on submitting strong applications that demonstrate their unique suitability for these undergraduate programmes. STEM, Finance and Business related degrees are also popular choices for our students.
This year, students have secured excellent offers, reflecting their personal dedication and hardwork and demonstrating the effective support provided by our schools with the university application process.
As of May 2025, CGS students have secured 45 offers for Medicine, Dentistry and Veterinary Science. A total of 425 offers for Engineering (122 offers) and STEM (303 offers) degrees have been received. Students have received 240 offers for Business and Management degrees and 80 offers for Finance degrees. 99 offers for Law degrees have been received with students securing 180 offers for Social Sciences degrees and 27 offers for Humanities degrees. Students have also secured 40 offers for Creative Arts and Industries degrees, which includes 15 offers from the University of the Arts London, which is ranked 2nd globally for Art and Design degrees.**
These excellent offers for UK and international universities reflect the hardwork and dedication of our talented students. They also demonstrate how our supportive Higher Education Officers and teachers empower students to make strong university applications to pursue their ambitions and goals.
