This weekend saw the unveiling of the prestigious Newton Building, as part of the development of Bosworth Independent College. The Deputy Mayor, Councillor Stephen Hibbert, joined Chris Stacey, CEO, and Jason Lewis, Headmaster, to officially declare the building open.
“This inspiring campus provides the community here at Bosworth with the opportunity to further embed its values.”

The grand opening formed part of a broader event which included a site tour for parents, current and former students, staff, and local community members.
Speaking at the ceremony, Christopher Stacey, CATS Global Schools CEO, said:
“This inspiring campus provides the community here at Bosworth with the opportunity to further embed its values.
“It’s the perfect environment to encourage each student to grow in confidence and cultivate a lifelong curiosity for the world around us.
“It’s the perfect environment to promote academic excellence strengthened by care and concern for those around us.
“It’s the perfect environment to encourage creativity, where everyone communicates enthusiastically, collaborates, and contributes to the community – not only at the school but also the vibrant and dynamic community here in Northampton.”
Talking about the benefits of the move, Jason Lewis, Principal of Bosworth, said:
“We received the keys to this building in May 2022, and work quickly began to move all our teaching operations to the facilities here. Many have worked countless hours to ensure we were ready to welcome our students for a September start.
“We are delighted to return the 46,500 sq ft site to its former use as a school offering a first-class education to the UK and international students.”
The addition of the Newton Building and the development of eight newly refurbished science labs transforms the teaching facility for Bosworth Independent College, which now welcomes younger students, from Year 7.
This expansion helps CATS Global Schools realise its vision of inspiring the next generation of world shapers.
