CATS Global Schools is celebrating the achievements of students across its schools following the 2026 A Level results, with students securing places at leading universities across the UK and internationally.
This year’s results demonstrate the breadth of academic achievement across CGS, with strong performance across a wide range of subjects and 78 students progressing to Russell Group universities.
From Medicine, Engineering, Computer Science and Mathematics to Law, Psychology, International Relations, Business, Fashion, Animation and Performing Arts, CGS students are continuing to progress towards ambitious university and career pathways that reflect their individual interests and goals.
A significant highlight of this year’s results is the number of CGS students progressing to Russell Group universities.
78 students across CGS have secured places at Russell Group universities, including the University of Cambridge, Imperial College London, UCL, King’s College London, the London School of Economics and Political Science, the University of Warwick, the University of Edinburgh, the University of Bristol, the University of Manchester, Durham University, the University of Southampton, the University of Birmingham, the University of Leeds, the University of Nottingham, Cardiff University, Queen Mary University of London and the University of Exeter.
These destinations span a remarkable range of subjects, demonstrating the diversity of academic ambitions across CGS.
Strong academic achievement across our schools
The 2026 results include outstanding subject-level achievements across the group.
At St Michael’s School, 75.1% of grades were A*-A. The school also achieved 100% of its Oxbridge offers and 100% of its Medicine, Veterinary and Dentistry offers.
At Bosworth Independent School, 72% of grades were awarded at A*-C, with particularly strong results in History, where 84% of grades were A*-B, and Further Mathematics, where 75% achieved A*-B. Psychology also recorded 80% of grades at A*-C.
At Bournemouth Collegiate School, students achieved 100% A*-A in both Performing Arts and French, with 75% of Economics grades at A*-B and 100% A*-C in both Psychology and History. Students also achieved a 100% pass rate in the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ).
At CATS Cambridge, 84% of grades were A*-C overall. The school achieved 100% A*-C in Art, 94% in Chemistry, 93% in Biology, 86% in Psychology and 84% in both Further Mathematics and Mathematics.
Guildhouse recorded 100% A*-C in Psychology, English Literature and Sociology, alongside 83% A*-C in Further Mathematics and 70% in Business and Economics.
At Worthgate, 75% of grades were A*-C, alongside a 93% overall pass rate. Further Mathematics achieved 89% A*-C, while Economics achieved 86%, History 80% and Psychology 78% A*-C.

Among this year’s top destinations are the University of Cambridge, Imperial College London, UCL, LSE, King’s College London, the University of Edinburgh, University of Warwick, University of Bristol, University of Manchester, University of Southampton, University of Exeter and Durham University, alongside universities across Europe and Asia.
Students are also progressing to QS World top100 overseas institutions including Hong Kong University, the University of Amsterdam and The University of New South Wales (UNSW Sydney), Australia.

The results reflect an important part of the CATS Global Schools approach: supporting students to achieve academically while helping them identify the university and career pathway that is right for them.
